I appreciate the flexibility to try new things. I asked and was assigned a project that helped save over 20 percent processing time. I like that the company plans for the long term and helps me discover what my individual contribution can be to help make that happen.
Mac Dameron, Quality Assurance Engineer
What I like about my work most is the people that I work with. Every day when I wake up, I’m glad to be able to hang out with my friends! My work is exciting because I don’t necessarily know all the challenges that I’m going to face for that day whether it’s trying to figure out why a piece of equipment isn’t working or improving people and processes. My job is very engaging and comes with rewards of growth and knowledge that I get to use in all facets of my life. The main projects that we work on include building circuit boards for our products, working with the engineers to build prototypes, making sure all the equipment works and is fully functional, ensuring staff enough to run both SMT lines, and creating an understanding of boards per hour built. We are also heavily engaged in process improvement which includes eliminating waste and trying to get gains in production speed while maintaining quality.
Matt Brown, SMT Operator Lead
