Wavetronix Announces New Director of ITS - Asia

PROVO, Utah—January 26, 2004—Wavetronix LLC, the world leader in Digital Wave Radarâ„¢ traffic sensors, has hired a Director of ITS - Asia. Mr. Min-Der Day, P.E., has accepted the position and will represent Wavetronix throughout the Pacific Rim.

As a professional engineer, Mr. Day brings to Wavetronix more than twenty years of traffic engineering experience. Most recently, Mr. Day was involved in the design, installation and integration of traffic control, communication and management systems for the city of Jinan, China. He was also responsible for implementing the highway management system for the Luoyang-Sanmenxia State Line Expressway and was involved with projects in the cities of Shenyang and Fushen.

In addition, Day has participated in several projects, plans and studies in the United States. As Principal Engineer for the city of Pasadena, California, he led the design and implementation of that city's traffic management system. Mr. Day holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and City Planning from the University of Chinese Culture in Taipei, Taiwan, and a Master's degree in Engineering from Auburn University in Alabama.

Wavetronix designs and manufactures radar vehicle detection sensors and other products for intelligent transportation systems. Mr. Day joins Wavetronix as the company expands its presence in Asia with additional sensor installations in Taiwan and China.
