Wavetronix Introduces New Asia-Pacific Market Director

LINDON, Utah—January 18, 2009—A leader in the Australian ITS industry has joined Wavetronix to serve as its market development director in the Asia-Pacific region. Ross French will manage the company’s existing distributors and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Pacific Rim.

“We are excited to welcome Ross to Wavetronix and look forward to working with him in this important part of the world,” says Mike Rose, vice president of sales at Wavetronix. “The need for intelligent transportation systems in this region is tremendous, and Ross’ experience and expertise will certainly be an asset as we respond to these opportunities.”

French, a resident of Melbourne, Australia, brings more than nine years’ experience in Asian-Pacific sales and new business development to Wavetronix. His career has included product management, technical support and field training for companies like Kodak Australia; he has also worked for four and a half years in the ITS industry, including two years with Redflex Traffic Systems, a manufacturer of speed enforcement systems. Most recently, French worked as business development manager for CEOS, makers of traffic counting, classification and speed measurement devices.

At Wavetronix, French will concentrate on expanding existing business and introducing the company to new transportation markets. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to promote Wavetronix and its products in the Asia-Pacific region,” says French. “The company’s technology has been proven in other parts of the world, and I believe there are some very good opportunities to grow Wavetronix’ product base and corporate visibility in this area.”
