WavetronixLINDON, Utah—July 16, 2008—Texas transportation officials have added two new DataCollector installations to their regional networks.
Last spring, a full-server edition of DataCollector was installed in Lubbock, Texas, and a DataCollector Desktop Edition was installed in Corpus Christi. Unlike the full version, which can collect data from a variety of devices, DataCollector Desktop Edition is an entry-level data management product that provides a single user with the ability to collect and manage data specifically from SmartSensor. Officials say both editions are performing well, and TXDOT is now considering future expansions of both systems.
