CMD Products Deployed for New Projects

LINDON, Utah—June 14, 2006—Wavetronix has announced the deployment of CMD DataCollectors and DataTranslators in three new projects in Alabama, Illinois and Utah.

The Alabama project uses DataCollector to interface with real-time devices like the SmartSensor every 30 seconds; and with non-real-time devices like the PEEK ADR-3000 once a day via dial-up modem. It uses DataTranslator to integrate traffic data into other systems and databases for data filtering and analysis and FHWA reporting, and it uses DataMonitor to notify users of missed connections to sensors. In Illinois, DataCollector will be used to gather information from 3M Microloop detectors; and in Utah, officials will use DataCollector in conjunction with the new SmartSensor mid-block detection system.

Brian Hagan, executive vice-president and COO at Wavetronix, says these three projects highlight the unique flexibility of CMD products.“The Alabama project, in particular, demonstrates the resourceful flexibility of Command,” he says.
