Wavetronix Teams with ISS for European Distribution

LINDON, Utah—April 03, 2006—Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (ISS), the world leader in video detection for advanced traffic management systems, and Wavetronix LLC, the world leader in patented Digital Wave Radar™ traffic sensors, have reached a business agreement to distribute and co-brand the Wavetronix SmartSensor™ in Europe as the ISS Autoscope® SmartSensor. The companies announced the agreement at the 2006 Intertraffic exhibition in Amsterdam.

Under the agreement, ISS' subsidiary, ISS Europe Ltd, will offer the Autoscope SmartSensor and the Wavetronix Command™ line of data collection and management appliances to the European transportation market through its own pre-established distribution network. By adding SmartSensor to its product line, ISS Europe Ltd complements its wide-area advanced video detection technologies with the multi-lane vehicle detection capabilities of Wavetronix's Digital Wave Radar technology.

"This agreement gives ISS Europe the opportunity to respond to projects requiring multiple, demanding detection technologies," says Graham Heywood, the managing director of ISS Europe Ltd. "Expanding our Autoscope product line to include SmartSensor improves our ability to offer a complete solution to all data collection needs on highways and motorways, using the best technologies available today."

The agreement with ISS gives Wavetronix the opportunity to introduce the Autoscope SmartSensor in Europe through a well-organized distribution channel. Michael Rose, the vice-president of sales and marketing at Wavetronix, says the agreement gives Wavetronix access to the best distribution network overseas.

"This agreement takes two companies, well-respected for their respective technologies, and creates a cohesive, solutions-oriented system offering currently unavailable in Europe's vehicle detection market," Rose says.
