PROVO, Utah—January 04, 2010—Wavetronix has started 2010 on the crest of a wave. In the past year, global acceptance of SmartSensor HD skyrocketed, resulting in a year of phenomenal international growth. To accommodate that growth, the company has moved its headquarters to a larger office space in Provo, Utah; and it has established regional sales offices overseas in order to better respond to needs in the international market.
Mike Rose, vice president of sales at Wavetronix, says the growth is due, in part, to SmartSensor HD’s proven accuracy, which has led to an explosion of international deployments. “SmartSensor HD has been extensively tested by respected transportation organizations around the world, and is now recognized as a formidable alternative to loop detection,” Rose says.
As a result, Wavetronix now has active deployments in more than 40 countries, including recent deployments in Denmark, New Zealand, Russia and South Africa, and its worldwide network of authorized distributors continues to expand. The company established offices in London and Australia late in 2009, adding to existing offices in China and Florida; and it moved its headquarters to the world renowned Novell campus in Provo. Wavetronix executive vice president and COO Brian Hagen says the move gives the company room to grow in a place that is conducive to innovation.
“We are excited to be part of a campus known for technology and professionalism,” Hagen says. “The increased space will allow us to continue to expand and represents an important new phase in the maturation of Wavetronix.”
